The Music Academy Madras – Advanced Diploma in Carnatic Vocal

Applications are invited for Advanced Diploma in Carnatic Music (vocal), conducted by The Music Academy.
The three-year course has two semesters (mid-July-November end and mid-January to June end). Classes will be held from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 12.30 p.m.

The faculty members are R. Vedavalli (director), Ritha Rajan (associate director), S. Sowmya, Suguna Varadachari, R.S. Jayalakshmi, Neyveli Santhanagopalan, Sriram Parasuram, Sumithra Vasudev, Baby Sriram, C.R. Vaidhyanathan, Amritha Murali, Delhi Muthukumar, and Mannarkoil Balaji.

Applicants should have passed Class 12 /+ 2, and should be between 18 and 30 years of age. They should be able to sing varnams, kritis with knowledge of manodharma.
