Ekatvam celebrates violin maestro T. N. Krishnan

Celebrating the 96th birthday of the acclaimed violin vidwan T.N. Krishnan, Ekatvam presents the third memorial awards.
The Sangita Kalanidhi T.N. Krishnan Memorial Award for the year 2024 will be presented to Madurai G.S. Mani, senior vocalist and the Sangita Kalanidhi T.N. Krishnan Award of Excellence for the year 2024 will go to Vijay Natesan, mridangam vidwan.

The award function will be held on Nov 30, 2024 at Katuri Srinivasan Hall (Mini Hall), The Music Academy, Chennai, at 5.45 pm
N. Gopalaswamy, former Chief Election Commissioner of India and Chancellor, National Sanskrit University will be the chief guest and other guests of honours on the occasion are veteran vidwan Dr T.V. Gopalakrishnan and R Sundar, secretary, Hamsadhwani sabha, Chennai.

A vocal concert by S Saketharaman along with H.N. Bhaskar on the violin, Vijay Natesan on the mridangam and Dr S Karthick on the ghatam will follow.
