Ghatam Karthick’s HeArtbeat ensemble celebrates silver jubilee
The HeArtbeat Cultural Foundation celebrates its 25th anniversary on November 14, 2024, at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mylapore, starting at 6:00 pm.
Padma Bhushan awardee and Grammy Award Winner Sri. T.H. “Vikku” Vinayakram will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Special Guests: Padma Shri awardee Dr. Nalli Kuppuswami Chetti and P. Unnikrishnan, singer.
There will be a presentation “Silver Hearts” – a special composition by Ghatam Karthick, with notation transcribed by Philippe Macnab-Séguin
International Ensemble, featuring performances by:

This will be followed by a presentation of the “Sahrudaya” Awards to Veena Vidwan Kannan Balakrishnan and Mandolin Vidwan U.P. Raju
Heartbeat Ensemble Concert will be at 7:30 pm with Dr. S. Karthick (Ghatam, Konnakkol, Vocal), U.P. Raju (Mandolin), V.G. Vigneswar (Keyboard), Sarvesh Karthick (Mridangam & Handsonic), N. Sundar (Morsing & Tabla).
The performance will feature ‘Little Hearts, students of Sweta Balasubramaniam from the Samagana School of Carnatic Music.
