Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha Awards 2024

The 124th year of December Music Festival of Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha will be inaugurated on Dec. 14, 2024.

The Sangeetha Kalasarathy Award for this year is conferred upon senior musicians Trichur V Ramachandran and Srimushnam V Rajarao.

Dr Rukmini Ramani, musicologist, guru and composer, will receive the Acharya Sarathy sward. The Palghat Mani Iyer Centenary Award will be presented to mridangam vidwan Trichur C Narendran.

Violin vidwan T.K.V. Ramanujacharyulu will receive the Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu Award and Veena vidwan D. Balakrishna will be presented the Veena Pitchumani Iyer Centenary Award.

The Gottuvadyam Narayana Iyengar Award for musical excellence goes to Ghatam vidwan S. Karthick. ‘Isai Mazhalai’ Ramji will receive the Isai Medhai G. Ramanathan Award.

Young musicians Sunil R Gargyan and Kamalakiran Vinjamuri will receive the Dr M.L.V. Award.

The awards will be conferred upon the artistes on the inaugural function at Vidya Bharathi, 55, Bheemasena Garden Road, Mylapore on Dec. 14, 2024, at 4.00 p.m.
